ABOUT THE PRODUCER:
Khalid‘s farm has a long history: it belonged to his father who inherited it from his father too. At the time it was a small coffee plantation with wild coffee plants sourced from the Clochè forest. Many legends tell that this forest was the birthplace of Ethiopian coffee and we like to think that too! Khalid and his brother are really attached to this farm and they take care of these special plants, the legacy of a traditional coffee family. Echemo farm, which extends now over 35 hectares, is the result of the effort of generations. Today the farm counts 25 African beds, 6 of them reserved exclusively for the honey process and coffee nursery for new plants.
