ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Carlos Rivas bought the El Transito Finca in 2017 but his passion for coffee started many years ago. Carlos and his family started their coffee journey together as a family and they bought the land in 2017. They identified the potential and decided to put their effort and resources into this land, so they started the renovation after 9 years of abandonment. After years of effort, he has achieved his goal: a high-quality, consistent cup. Carlos is also working on research, this is why he reserved a part of his lot for varietal experimentation. These variety's projects are carried out with the help of World Coffee Research.
